I was lucky… read on..
I have a double car port and thought before my ride yesterday I would tighten up my new chain as getting a bit floppy...
I had the zzr on the center stand and done the adjustments... i was tightening the axle bolt back up and my spanner came off

i lost balance a bit and lent on the back of bike which in turn started off the center stand
Don't know what it was but i was off the ground in a flash and had the front handle bar in no time....
the bike was laying right over and about a few centimetres from the side of the car

and getting heavy...
i managed to pull it back up and put it on the side stand.... no damage to anything..
tell you what I never want to do that again... could cost a bit of money for the bike and car...

yes, good save! Lucky it was a 250 hey! I wouldn't have bothered with mine, would have just had to sit back and watch gravity do it's thing
I had a mad saterday just gone, I was tired or it was hot, or something? And every time I stopped in an akward place like a sloping driveway I had this "teetering" moment where the bike went too far one way and I had to grab it quick

It gave me the shits after the 4rd time and I went home and slept for a few hours.

Good save Trev

Chameleon was a good idea to go back to bed by the sounds of it

i had a really close call. came to turn into a T intersection, but let the car coming towards me turn in first, as i followed him in i didnt expect him to slow to walking pace to turn into his driveway. i hit the anchors pretty hard than lost my balance. and the bike started tipping right pretty quick, (the only good thing is my right side is already damaged)
now this all happened on a sloping hill, i went over with the bike and kept my foot wedged as hard as possible( bike boots aren't really the best for this sort of situation)

finally got it upright again after bout 15 seconds when i look up and see the guy and his mate just watching me, waiting for me to drop it the bastards.
