FU(ING queensland transport :S

i spent from 8:30 till 2:30 today changing my license over from tas to queensland cos a letter from the queensland qovernment specificaly addressed to me isnt good enough :O
And then only to fidn out that q-ride aint in townsville next week
Can someone send me a ticket to tasmania :'(

Typical bloody queenslanders - heheh (although i could just be jealous of the weather/beaches etc up there)
Tassie is 'the best' ... except in winter, then the roads just get scary.

I thought QLD was supposed to be the promised land for motoring.
Cheap Fuel, Good roads, No rego inspections etc etc
Is that all a urban myth?
Hey ZZRCHIKKY what are the roads like for riding out of townsville? like up to Paluma etc. I havent been up there since i was a kid.

I hafta say Adelaide is pretty good for driving/riding - some roads are a little bit rough ... but when there are so many hills roads etc right near the CBD you can't complain.
What you can complain about is the near total lack of a CBD
So what's the go ? Are you going to be unlicensed for a bit ?

I'm having some fun with the licensing process myself ... mainly cause i'm a moron, but anyway ...
Just have to keep yourself occupied with some track days maybe ??? Get acquainted with Queensland Raceway mebbe ... heheh

Townsville" I was going to warn you zzrchicky. Just roll the name around in your head a little TOWNS-VILLE... It's a DUMP!!!! An army town that thought a casino would turn it into a capital. The weather is shit, the nightlife is shit, the roads are shit and the people are from so many different places that the society is totally fragmented. I would live in nearly any town or city in QLD. But not that one, that one or rockhampton.
You made a bad choice.
