Hey watch it with the oldies reference there young fella. Schwantz and Rainey weren't that long ago.
Oh, hang on a minute Phaark they were a while ago.
If you can ever find any old footage, Schwantz and Rainey belting around on Superbikes was a treat also.
The only thing that could've made Schwantz better to watch was if he were an Aussie.

I remember watching the 500s when they first came to EC 1990 I think, it was a practice day I think, my Year 12 class managed to get jobs at the track collecting tickets and directing cars to the parking areas in exhange for money towards our Year 12 Farwell. I lasted 10min collecting tickets and disapeared to watch the bikes race. I even managed to get into the pits and watch the bike from the cat walk along the main straight, what a blast that was watching the 500s turn onto the straight and come screaming past very close. I'll have to dig out the dust coats they gave us cause I had gotten heaps of autographs on it, Gardner, Schwantz, Rainey & a few others

That has to be the best sychronised slide, highside ever , i believe it was Doohan and Frankie Chili, but i stand to be corrected, defintley Doohan and the other was a ROC Honda so i'll have to go with Chili, and why would'nt ya...
Great clips from Donington and Hockenheim, the Hockenheim one has to be the best all time out-braking move ever.
Rainey timed it to perfection to slipstream Schwantz into the last chicane before the Grandstand section, but Revvin-Kevin was having none of it.
Apparentley he took a walk over to that turn in the evening and measured the black mark from his front tyre and it was over 50 metres.
Rossi beater? I reckon.But let's not go there,even though i just have.....
