I'm due for some stoppers front and back for the zzr, I'm thinking of getting some EBC pads.
Does anyone have any other recomendations?

Go with just about anything I guess

I can't say i've used them on my bike, but EBC is a good brand none the less and if you can afford it, go for it.
Having said that - with a ZZR250 you won't need to use the brakes much anyway

I got the EBC sintered pads, now I just have to get the Hel line.

Are your brake discs designed to work with sintered?
If not, then thats a mighty quick way of ensuring you need new brake discs

Hmm, good question. I asked in MCAS and they said that they are a softer compound than the standard pads and will get less milage but stop better. They are EBC FA129HH.
I had a good look through the EBC catalogue before hand and can't find anything mentioning that a different rotor is needed (if there was it would be a selling oppurtunity), but they do have 2 grades of sintered pads, there is a road version and a racing version which is not made for the particular pad size.

I put sintered on a week ago and they are great... BUT. I found they dragged and squealed after a long ride out bush? Not when your on them, or around the city when your braking every 40 seconds, but after a long period of no use? Anyway, I... sanded the disks with 600 wet-n-dry, roughed the pads up a little on 60 grit... No good, still squealed... So today I took the pads off again and put that stop squeal paste on between the pads and calipar pistons. Will see if that solves the prob.

Does your pads have that perforated plate on the back of them? mine don't, but that could be the cause of the squeal.
Let me know how they go becasue I can always exchnage them as I don't plan on doing them until my Hel line comes

I finally got around to putting the brake pads in today (motivation was that the rear pads were starting to make metat-metal contact).
After a few bed-in runs up and down the street the braking performance was much better.
Now I just have to wait for AusStreetfighter to find out where the F**k my braided line has got to.
