G'day guys, my zzr600 is up for it's first service next week, and my intention is to take to a mechanic I trust rather than the dealer I purchased it from.

If you were looking at buying a used bike would it make a crap load of difference to you if the bike was serviced by a dealer or by a known and respected spanner man.

I'm aware that it may void my warranty but I figure my mechanic is going to find any problems that may arise long before the dealers apprentice does.

The mechanic BTW is Petes Pitstop in Narre Warren.

Pete can still stamp ya book and the warranty will still be void. Nice choice their to know him very well. We took the FJR to him and yeah made no Differance cept we knew what was being done to it. They only suggest the dealer so they can put more $$$$ in their accounts :D

I gotta get a service done next week. I know this bike shop mec who did some minor work on mine and seems like he will take his time and do it right but I'm gonna take his wife and son as hostages until I get the bike back runnin sweet
