the first Chevy V8-powered bike to tour around Oz was back in the early '70s, it was a drag-racing special ( like all of 'em since.....).

Wow, that's just proof again that the yankees have too much time and money on their hands. Yikes
If that thing can be ridden, it'd be shit to ride, because it has almost zero road clearence from the look of it, and it'd be heavy as all hell. Plus, it looks really bad. Terrible.
I'd be embarressed to ride it, and to go for a ride with anyone else riding it .

, this beastie was designed to run on the Lake Gairdner salt pan, they are looking to get 200mph out of it.....(heh, you could borrow Yoda's new 12, its unrestricted !!).....
anyway, some basic stats are:
4.4litre aluminium P76 block, lightly-ported heads, Chev rods
Supercharged
3 speed auto
Weighs 569 kg
No suspension
Wheels built by John Titman - spokes

7" x 18"9 guage spokes
Tank from a
Z1000 (natch
