Woo Hoo! I was only going to look at it, a 93 model with 48000 on it and only $4000. I thought it must be a dog. But she was MINT! 8) So I bought her.
Trouble is, "unregistered" and I need to get her home. I was figuring a tow, or preferably get the insurance and rego form and ride her back. I also want to get full comprehensive insurance but don't know which is the best company in QLD.

Any thoughts guys-n-gals?

BTW, she is that two tone blue and very sexy with it too I might add.

Hey Chameleon congrats! Great bike. Wish I still had mine (1996 model).
Best site for the 1100:

Is yours a C4 or a D1 model? C models had one hole in the fairing for the air intake, D models had two. Make sure you keep the oil level up to the top- especially if you do a lot wheelies- otherwise the number three conrod bearing can spin, buggering your engine- common 1100 fault....as well as 2nd gear in the C models.

Sounds like a good thing for the price, wouldnt mind a spare one for touring.

Where did you find it?

Pics?

Covernote from suncorp which is the third party paid for and fill out the rego forms that can be found on the department of transport website then you can ride it down to where ever for a roadworthy without a plate on it but check with dept of transport first.

Am pretty sure thats how it works.

Kewl Chameleon...that pic is a D2 though- the graphics on the fairing above the 'ZZR' shouldn't be on a D1.

Thanks beryl! I downloaded the PDf and printed it out and my housemate has gratiously offered to use his CC to pay the online stuff tonight. I found her in the trading post, she has been sitting there since last thursday.

No pics yet, but when she's in the driveway, No problems.

Here is the gear I've put together, the Oxtar boots, Rjays jacket, some way lumpy gauntlets and my prize! An Arai Quantum "second hand" for $200. I know I know... But BELIEVE ME! It's not even scratched.
