Up here you must have your full licence for a year before they let you double people. Only a few months to go for me.

i could already go 2 up.. 12 months into my P plates.
i was already unrestricted two years ago - just had to display.

In Qld do you still need to be accompanied by a full licensed rider when on L plates? Is the reason I never got my bike license when living in Brisbane, bloody stupid rule I reckon
