Hey Vicwegian's, just got back from a couple of days at your place for work and stayed with the GM who's at Rye. Anyway on the way home on Tuesday we went for a detour up to Arthurs seat, albeit in a car rather than on a bike but nonetheless I have to say that has to be one of the best views I've seen in a long while and looked to be a particularly fun piece of tar.
Sensational place, you lucky lucky bastards.

It is a fun place to cut laps.
The best part is the group can set up at one of the corners and talk shit while people who want to do laps can.

Yeah! And you can go wide on tight hairpins and miss oncoming cars by 15mm!!! That's heaps of fun!!!!!

Yep, great place to learn how to corner and stop. I used to hang out there a lot in the mid ninetees on my zxr. The good thing is you can cut a few laps up and down and then have a break and enjoy the views or chew the fat with other like minded souls. Just treat it with respect.
To get there, take the coast road from Mornington as that's a nice ride as well.
Cheers
