As topic.. Does anyone have one?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
MCAS in sydney can get one for $880, its hyperpro, and its the mount to the steering head type.. which I dont really want.
But this is now a matter of urgency

she likes to shake around
thanks

Mate, what tyres ya running, I know Some people seem to think the Oem Dunlops dont suit the Aussie conditions. Also have ya had the suspension set up properly ?. I'm sure you have & they are a handful when you start to get confident on them but i've seen as many bikes crash on the raods with them as without.
2cs.
Cheers Brett

I have a Matris on mine. Cost about $790 from Parra Kawi even cheaper with our 15% discount...
Changing the tyres will definately help but a damper is the go.

I'm sure my Hyperpro CSC was only around $650, and it isn't a problem being mounted at the front of the tank...that's where Kawasaki are putting the Ohlins on the new 10

Dampers makes a huge difference.
I raised the ride height on my bike and she shook around when pushing hard. I put the damper on and it made a huge difference even to the extent of being able to hold a line better through a long sharp sweeper even with rough road conditions.
I ended up getting mine through the zrx club in the U.S, it was $340 aus shipped and I got it in 6 days. The equivilant in oz was $789.00 and there was a 4 week wait. There must be a zx10 club in the us.
best money I spent.

check the zx12r.org site, go into ZX10 forums, and do a search for steering dampers.
Last time I looked, there were about 5 pages of references in one form or another. Heaps of advice, what works what doesn't, spares availability etc etc, its a plethora of information .........
E-bay is definitely your friend here, most of the good US suppliers have e-bay stores and you can get stuff cheaply and reasonably fast.
I *think* that the steering-head damper is the *only* style that you can fit on the 10R anyway ??? BTW I think the 10R needs one of these right from the word go - The test hack I took for a spin last year jumped all over the place when under the *pump*

it did not have one fitted.....
cheers

I set mine back to it's softest setting a month or so ago just to see how it felt...scared the shit out of me

...but the steering head was a bit loose too
