Hi guys. Glad to be here.
I have recently acquired what I believe to be an “80 z750. I’m trying to gather as much info I can about the bike and get it ready for a blue slip. I need a few bits and pieces and want to be sure I’m ordering the right parts. Any advice on working out what it is as I only have a serial number on the head stock.
Also if there is any directions on where to find parts it would be greatly appreciated.
I can’t seem to add a photo as it’s too big. Once I work out how to make it smaller I’ll add one.

Re: New to me z750
You could try https://www.cmsnl.com/ for microfiche and parts diagrams. See if the bike you have matches the parts on the parts diagrams.
If parts are rare there's also https://japan.webike.net/
they have a lot of parts in stock and are situated in Japan so if anyone would have the parts in stock it'd be them.
My technique for my zxr400 (its a grey import) is to find the part number on cmsnl and then do a search on webike and get a parts list
then do one big order to save on postage. If webike dont have it then I try search engines and wreckers websites.
