Parts

Post by billwest »

I discovered a cracked and leaking main fuel line on the ZZR1200. Simple fix, I thought, remove, buy a new one.
Not so.
None available in WA. Has to come from the Eastern states. However, Kawasaki is moving premises over there, and parts are difficult to obtain. Wait time is October. Pisspoor.

Anyway, Webike (Japan) has them available, and cheaper. Postage costs are good if combined with other parts, such as fuel filter (none in WA - same story).
Don't ride as if you own the road.......
Ride as if you own the bike!

ZZR1200 ('02), FJR1300 ('19).

So often the case. I try to support my 'local guy', but I refuse to be ripped off...

I gave up trying to buy OEM parts from my local dealer. I'd send them an email which included the part number when asking for price and availability, and they'd always reply telling me the part number was wrong. So now I search the part number on Webike and it always comes straight up and I usually have it within 3-4 days.
