Assen TT

Post by Glen »

A couple of shots of our view of the TT. What a sensational event and a massive crowd. Certainly a once in a lifetime job

Driving back to Amsterdam all the locals come out and sit on the side of the Motorways to watch all the bikes head back, literally thousands of people on the side of the roads and in servo's on bridges as you go under etc. They are absoluteley nuts for the TT

This time next year off to Europe with Ozalp tours for 12 day 5 countries bike tour, 9 of us:

http://www.ozalps.com/n/tours/five-countries-west

My nominated bike is a KTM 1190 or KTM 1090 OR Z800 in that order.

http://www.ozalps.com/n/ozalpsbikes

I might reverse my bike choice as the tour is mostly around twisties with an occasional squirt on the Auto Stradas / Autobahns.

Not wanting to visit the GP as I'm not good with crowds plus been spoiled by tv coverage.

Can hardly wait to experience the endless serpentine's of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy France and Italy,

The group I'm riding with most Tuesdays Is 6 guys and a 1 lady, two guys I havent meet yet. Nor have I meet the organizer / Ozalp business owner Cliff, who lives in Byron and has been conducting these trips for over 10 years. Some of the guys have done a few of his trips and all favorable in the feedback.

Going to be fun.... :kuda: :kuda:
