The bike hasn't been ridden for 18 months. So battery was dead.
I just put a new battery in so I am able to get ignition "going" Outside of changing battery, my technical skills fall short. There is some fuel in the tank.
The bike usually starts with no issues.
If there is anyone who can help get it started; beers or your favourite form of alcohol is on me. I'm in northern suburbs of melbourne
Thanks in advance

Re: 05 zx6r won't start
Does it crank => good. But don't crank it too much unless you charge the battery
Fuel might be stale as they absorb water. Throw all (or use as cleaner) and put in new fuel

Re: 05 zx6r won't start
Hmm fuel injected right?
Yes first question is it cranking
Can you hear the fuel pump pressurise the fuel system?
OK dump all the old fuel and stick in some fresh stuff and make sure there is enough in the tank.
If this doesn't work or the fuel pump has stopped then you need to start problem searching. Check your fuel lines too cause you may find that they have perished. If the fuel pump is in the tank you need to check that too as I had a problem on my Aprilia where the in tank fuel line had perished. Only found it by chance.......
