Looking through the latest AMT I have seen that Sunstate are now a Kawasaki dealer. Anyway thought you Qld'rs might want to know that.

I doubt it as there is a very healthy kwikka dealer in town allready ( North Coast Kawasaki/ team Moto Maroochydore), however I wonder if Sunstate has become the latest team Moto aquisition or it is another store in another location perhaps?nobikeatall wrote:Looking through the latest AMT I have seen that Sunstate are now a Kawasaki dealer. When my brother was shopping around for a new bike he got that a lot...not sure why or what the story is, but every single shop that did that lost a potential sale. We have no tolerance for that kind of crap in our family. If you are in business to sell something, then you'd better bloody well have stock of what you sell!beryl wrote:...up there 1 hour later and said i am blah blah blah here to test ride a v11 lemans and he said we dont have a demonstrater here try this cagiva raptor.![]()
I agree 1 through to 3!nobikeatall wrote:I thought that funny to, as Northcoast is not far down the road. I should clarify, on Sunstates two page spread in AMT above where all the "marque" banners are there is a Kawasaki one.
Either it is a misprint or who knows, perhaps one of you guys going up there maybe able to confirm this as
1. I thought Kawasaki only liked independent dealerships
2. Sunstate always used to be primarily Suzuki and Euro brand dealership.
3. Seems silly to have two Kwaka dealerships so close.
Nope no so anymore seems that every dealer will be selling the big four.nobikeatall wrote:

Didn't make it to Sunstate today.greenmeanie wrote:Hey scotty37 did you get to check out sunstate? Is it only NorthCoast/TeamMoto that sells kawasaki on the sunshine coast ?
I was down @ Whales on saturday talking to a mate that now works in accessories there and he was saying they will be getting the "PRO" paintjob on the shop at the end of the year.
I was good i stayed away from the zx10's.
Can you give me more details on this?nobikeatall wrote:Looking through the latest AMT I have seen that Sunstate are now a Kawasaki dealer. Anyway thought you Qld'rs might want to know that.
Spoke to local Northcoast kwaka owner today, he said Kawasaki only like the One dealer to sell Kawasaki's(we knew that) he was also very surprised about this piece of info too, said only Kwaka dealers can sell in the area given to them ( radius of 50km or so) and no one else can sell them in their area. Maybe another dealer can buy from them being the local dealer but not direct from Kawasaki. Anyway next stop will be sunstate as I know an ex-kwaka salesman is now working there. This could create quite a stir but it must be a misprint.nobikeatall wrote:I thought that funny to, as Northcoast is not far down the road.
