I got a new couch
Shame they wouldn't let me sleep on it, I'd have been more comfortable than the ocean recliner.

Re: I got a new couch
Picked it up in Melbourne last Sunday and rode it 40 something kays in glorious sunshine to a friends house. Sat around most of the next day nursing a flu until it was time to go to the boat - and arrived back in Tassie in a storm. It holds up well in 100kmh wind gusts and driving rain. Haven't ridden it in the snow yet because the road was closed that day ...
I've lusted after one of these since 2009 and the price finally came to my level. Had to sell Humphrey dirt cheap to do it though - still a bit sad about that.

Its at GTR1400 Tim.
Not sure what year model. But they haven't really changed much since they came out.

Re: I got a new couch
The changed a bit Wattie. 07 to 09 look like this one (which is an 08), but in 2010 they completely redesigned the front fairing and added traction control and stuff. I don't like the new shape - and especially the black wheels, so I was particularly after a 'gen 1'. There were a few for sale with power commanders and flies out, gps's and sheepskins ... and there is one local to me that is way overpriced for an 07.
This one was the cheapest on bikesales at the time my stack of $50 notes reached the required height and it was also the closest, being in Melbourne bayside, and is mostly stock. It has brand new Pirelli Angel GTs, new pads, new touring screen, Oxford heated grips and a Delkevic exhaust.
I'd never ridden one before so HM rang the guy and said we'd buy it - I flew over, handed over a bag of cash and then rode it ... as you do.

Congrats on the new couch. It certainly is a beastly machine.
+1 on what BrettZZR said !
The snow looks terrifying. How the hell do you ride two wheels in the snow ?
