Another addition to my growing Kawasaki family !!

I have decided to re-build a lightly damaged ZX6R. Got right into it straight away with the strip down, very straight and very low k's..

These models are so easy to work on so it takes no time at all.. Just waiting on a few main parts to arrive this week hopefully and a big weekend of building up the new baby...

I will post some better pics as soon as I get some more work done..

Looking forward to putting some more track k's on this one at both the Island and Broadford...

Macca ;-)

More work done...

No doubt about it, Armour bodies are by far the best race glass / fairings I have ever used..!!

Perfect fit every time... Highly recommended for sure..

Looking good big Macca!

Are you keeping it white?

You'd have more chance of keeping it in the garage if it was your favorite color black!

Mind you I reckon the white looks absolutely horn!!!!

I am gutting the cat out of the headers this week, then doing a full service as well...

So it should be ready for a test ride on the 23 /24 of March.. :-)

It wont be painted and the tank wont be repaired, but it will be good for a shakedown test for sure...

Will be changing tyres and front sprocket at the track, then it will be test time..

Getting the suspension tweaked and levers / foot controls adjusted to suit..

Cant wait...

Well Johhny Mac, I am not quite that light.. more like 75 kilo's.. but that is ripped of course !!

I do like the BPF forks though.. I got them to work very well on the ZX10.. I am hoping I can get the same or similar feeling on the ZX6 ...

The rear shock, well I am prepared to change that, but just got to stick to my budget at the moment, that might come later.. along with my quickshifter..!! ;-)
