Where did you get those bits, Stevo?
Don't ride as if you own the road.......
Ride as if you own the bike!

Got them from https://mdicarbonfiber.com/kawasaki-zx12r
The clear on them has started to go milky, I've emailed them about it and they are sending another couple over, seem good to deal with.
The ashtray was from another place and better quallity and twill pattern but they only done the ram air covers for the later models.

ZX12R, a ZX9R on Steroids !
I always fancied the 12 but a little to big for me.
Nice make up too !

Sorry to ask, but did you spill fuel over the 'milky' ones or they just faded. Reason I ask is to determine if they were infact coated in 2 pac. Acyrilic paint doesn't like petrol. 2 pac is resilient.

Also, did you have to return the bad ones ?
Good to know a company values it's reputation and are willing to assist post sale.
Good outcome.
For me personally, I'd take the bits to a paint shop and have them cleared over in a quality 2 pac clear. Most would do it willingly if they have a job going through the booth and will spray while they have the gun going. Some may charge I'm guessing maybe $80 or less to do them.

No It just started to go milky. They were great to start with in saying they would replace them.
I sent them photo's so they said not to worry about sending the old ones back, But I still have'nt see the replacment one yet.
The 12 is prob a little bit big for me also but I'll never have to worry about needing a bike with more power

Bonus mate ! if you get to keep the old ones, have them re cleared in quality 2 pac, put these on your bike and on sell the replacements.
I hear you brother, about the power. They are just FERAL !!!
I used to drool over the ZZR 1100 and there was this guy who used to live in my area who used to show pony around on weekends. You'd be guaranteed to see him at some point at least twice in the day.
Anyway, he was a little bloke and I always would say, man he just looks so not at home on that thing. It was kind of funny and impressive at the same time. Good luck to him. Man that was a while back.
Miss those ZZR 1100s. Beautiful machines for their day !

They sure are !. Not too many decent ones left I reckon. I might take a look around here for some nostalgia.

Any recommendations on who would have the nicest original ?

Oh, and bias comes with age I reckon. It's not a bad thing at all mate ! :kuda:
