Helmet mounted gopro

Post by Cshat »

Just a quick thing I noticed about the laws on sticking a go-pro to ur helmet,
It affects the integrity of the helmet thus making it un compliant with ADR laws,
SO WHY THE FUCK ARE CYCLISTS ALOUD BY LAW TO HAVE THEM STUCK TO THERE BIKE HELMETS
when it also may affect the integrity of the REQUIRED BY LAW HELMET the cyclists have to wear
I love all bikes, but the naked ones get me going

How about the ADR sticker that is illegal to remove from the helmet
Remember, half the people you know are below average.

This is the email I received from the police,

Thank you for your email enquiry with Policelink.

Having a camera mounted to your motorcycle helmet should be fine providing the camera does not compromise the integrity of the helmet's construction in anyway, and provided the camera does not interfere with your vision in any way.

If you have any further enquiries in regards to this and/or other matters, please do not hesitate to reply to this email or alternatively telephone Policelink on 131 444 (24 hours a day, seven days a week).

Yours sincerely,

Policelink
Queensland Police Service

If I were to say the ADR standard sticker has adhesive on it would that be fine

By law cyclist have to wear an approved helmet and motorcyclist have to wear an approved helmet, so why is it advised for a cyclist to mount a camera to there helmet for safety and yet a motorcyclist is not allowed to do the same thing
