Was there a Ride for some special occasion today?

I was up at the vineyard, in the Hunter, and as we went into town, Cessnock, for lunch we must have passed 250 -300 bikes heading out of town towards Braxton.
Anyone know what was going on?

Could have been the Black Dog Ride, I went on that one 2 years ago, went through cessnock , onto hunter valley vineyard at polkalbin from memory.
