low life bottom dwellers
Well after nearly 4 years of ownership
some lowlifes have liberated me from my stead
in the middle of the wee hours they have lifted and maneuvered the bike between 2 cars
thankfully without damaging them , although they managed to break the upper fairing ..leaving the pieces
and also snapping off the mirror in the drive way .. guessing they had no clue or love for cycles !
I was so looking forward to getting out this weekend ...
now I gotta stump up for excess on my insurance $1100 ... and deal with insurance dudes and go through the process of finding a new stead
if they don't recover the bike ...
its just a head f#*^ and waste of time and inconvenience
lock up and keep em safe
cheers Mick

Re: low life bottom dwellers
Makes you feel sick in the guts that not only your bike is gone, but someone has invaded your home.
Wishing you back on the road, even if its with a new steed.
Stay safe. Poss

Sorry to hear about your bike Mick.
They must have been strong bastards to be able to get it out from where it's parked, with the cars jammed up against it.

Re: low life bottom dwellers
thanks all for you're thoughts ...
yeah when and if I get insurance to buy me another
I will be definitely securing it with the ground anchor ..ie I don't have a garage
its got me stuffed how the moved it around the cars , with the steering lock on and not scratching the cars
only to drop the bike and crack the upper fairing ..snapping off one the mirrors
so now it looks Like I will be coming back home to green
