Often we hear how hard the police can be. Last weekend on or ROT ride one of our riders got pinched for 137 in a 100 zone crossing double lines and got off with a warning. The copper said he new the ROT had a ride on and to let the rest of us know to slow down and be careful. At least here in motorcyle heaven the coppers will still cut you some slack.

Ive been let off in NSW too - illegal tyre), just told me I was a knob and I should really replace it, so just goes to show not all cops are arseholes and not all arseholes are cops

The second half of your statement was well put Mr Faulty! I too have been let off surprisingly with a warning in NSW in the past.

Yep...a lot depends on attitude and driving record.
I too got let off a 'leave your bike beside the road' in NSW
