Z1000 24k service...

Just went to book my 2010 zed in for its 24,000km service (major one)
They quoted me $750-800 dollars!
Does this sound fair? What have you guys been paying for a similar service?
Just want to get an idea before I spend all my money!

Valve clearances. Time consuming and fiddly.

Yeah I know it's a big service think they do head stem bearings also? Just asking if it's a fair quote. Judging from your response you think it's reasonable...

Yep. Similar quote for my ZRX. I do all my own luckily.

My Street Triple is the same, because of the valves.

I worked as a service advisor at a big dealership, that sounds about right....
24k will be Valve Clearances, Spark Plugs and Airfilter. They *should* check headstem bearing, chain and sprockets, brakes.
