kawasaki zx9r 1995 model gearbox

Hi guys, Just a question regarding a gearbox that has 2nd gear gone missing. I can change 1st to 3rd but it just wont select second. There was no noise or clunk just stopped selecting 2nd. Don't know if selector or dogs are rs. ether way a gearbox recon is on the way. Any idea's whats wrong, Cheers smokey

Not sure but if you can find out what I the gear set from a ZXR will fit I have one in the garage!
Also think I have a selector drum off another ZXR if that's the problem!

MickC (I think it was) used to have a step by step guide on rebuilding these gearboxes on the web, might be worth pming him.
