SO, I rode the R1200GS, felt like a damned truck, constantly fighting the thing, damned thing is just too big.
Dont think im ready for the GTR1400
Cant tour the way I want to on a ZX10R unless one of you lot has a sister whos a chiropractor (and is hot, while not too picky)

Finally Available in OZ

And this afternoon was spent at SOS Suspension in Penrith speaking with Sean, who has taken the details and ordered a Wilburs Type 641 Monoshock with Remote Hydraulic Height Adjustment, which will be custom built to lower the back end 10mm without compromising the ride, and is also doing the sums on the front forks which Im pulling out next week to get them revalved/resprung
Should have done this ages ago, the Ninja is just too damned good a bike, having said that, ima meet the schmuck that set down the specs for the SHIT shocks they come with one day, ill let you guess where im gonna shove that useless, step adjusted, no compression damping adjustment POS

Well, Front forks are off and delivered to SOS, Probably going to revalve and respring them
Wilburs rear should be in by the 10th October, dont suppose anyone knows how to get to the forward mount for the rear shock
Near as I can tell, its going to be a big job to get in there.

And Id be wrong,
RTFM.
2 Bolts and out she comes, looks like the forward one is a caged nut that has the bolt accessible through the frame.

Seriously Mr Kawasaki?
WTF were you thinking, you market a bike as the thinking guys sports tourer, but you dont fit heated grips.
SO, there i was today thinking shit how am i gonna wire the Kawasaki supplied heated hand grips, im not overly fond of splicing wires.
SO going through the manual, running the supplied loom, and theres 2 frigging plugs sticking out of the main harness ready and waiting!!!!
I find it annoying to find something was designed specifically to milk the accessory page

Better than the moto Guzzi Stelvio.
It has the button fitted, the indicator comes on on the dash and 10mims later you're wondering why your hands are still cold.
Doesn't have heated grips
