Just wondering .... is a Regulator/Rectifier a CDI? or are they totally different? I know as much about electrickacall stuff as Glen knows about Facebook

Regulator/rectifier are parts of the battery charging system.
CDI (capacitor discharge ignition) is a type of ignition.
