Hey guys. My wifes 94 model ZXR250 has had a stone put a hole in its radiator.
The local radiator repair place said if its an aluminium radiator they wont touch it for repair.
Im wondering how do I tell if it is an aluminium one or not? I have tried googling Kwaka ZXR250 (and ZX2R) radiators to find out but to no avail.
Im thinking that being 94 model its should be aluminium to reduce weight like most car ones are.
Does anyone know the answer?
I can remove and refit the radiator just fine myself. (Just replaced the front rotors and brake pads on the same ZXR250) but to me aluminium looks just like steel.
I know ones lighter but without anything to compaire it against its hard to tell.

Thanks in advance for any help.

loctite make a radiator repair product

have used it before on fuel tanks and radiators and never had
to fix it again

its a metal epoxy that looks like a chewing gum stick

you break off what you need , knead it and then apply it to the area

it sets like concrete
