My son has got himself in a bit of strife in Qld and I need to know.....Are NSW licensed 'L' platers allowed to legally ride in Qld?? In the old days, being the 70's/80's, I'm sure the answer would've been no,but have now been told otherwise.
I can't find anything in the NSW/Qld licensing laws to say they can't,or am I missing something???

When I liverd in Qld an L plater had to be accompanied by someone wiuth a full motorcycle license, sot sure if that's still the case but if it is then that's where the Qld specific law might come into play, perhaps get in tough with the MCC of NSW and as k if they know what the story is.

WTF
So who is the pillion ?
You don't need a Learners when you are a pillion...
So are you saying the learner needs to learn how to pillion before he learns how to ride....

I dont think pillion, just a qualified rider on another motorcycle, but something about always remaining within a certain distance of the rider to ensure they are monitored.

NSW L platers can ride in QLD, but with all their NSW restrictions- 80km/h max for example.
