Hi there, We are shooting a TV commercial in the north western suburbs of Sydney either 16th or 17th of April & in one of the shots we are looking for a Green Kawasaki to be parked in a driveway & for the rider to walk up to the bike & ride away. We'd do it several times from a few angles. No stunts, no burnouts nothing dangerous but the bike must be roadworthy & the owner have insurance for the bike etc.
Bike should be 7 or 8 years old but kept in good condition with no visible crash damage.
Our agency has sent me a shot back of this bike that they like the look of & I am contacting you to see if you have anyone on your register with a bike similar to this. A few mods are OK but it should look pretty much stock & in green as the primary colour. We have offered up a couple of different brands & they feel that this is the most appropriate to use for the shot. The owner/ riders face will not be seen but they should be dressed for the road with gloves & jacket boots & full face helmet. The rear licence plate will need to be removed for the shot.
Please let me know if you have anyone you can lead me to who may be interested in taking part in this commercial. We realise we would potentially be dragging someone away from their work so we have some money, not a lot but can at least offer a few hundred & lunch etc & all the glory of working on a film set for the day.
I'd need to show some recent shots of the bike in its current condition probably by Tuesday next week so I don't have a lot of time to find it but I thought this would be the best place to start.
I'd love to have a back up bike just in case the first one falls through for whatever reason.
I am also a bike rider & crashed my last Kawasaki but I remember it well GPZ900R A2. but that's over 20 years ago now… Had a few Duck's since then & still do!
Cheers Mate & look forward to speaking with you soon.
I can be reached anytime at 0438.423-202. or email me back here.
Thanks in advance, Simon.
