Hi guys,
This probably applies to any bike but I'm turning my 06 zx10 into a tracky and I'm wanting to remove unwanted bits. This includes the indicator/light switch. The loom is also attached to the clutch switch loom so wanted to unplug the whole thing. It starts and runs fine but wanted to ask if I might run into any problems without it and what the clutch switch is actually for?
Bike is un-rideable at the moment so I can't test it out...
Cheers,
Mick

Re: 06 zx10 clutch switch
No trackies or race bikes without a clutch switch out there?

Re: 06 zx10 clutch switch
If you remove the entire block you'll lose your lap timer function from the stopwatch, my bike has "something"unplugged, no idea what it was though but I can't see a switch on the clutch.

here is the spare plug

Re: 06 zx10 clutch switch
That, to me, looks like your clutch switch... So no problems with anything then?
I don't care about the lap timer function. I'll use go pro to help with those. I'm still slow enough to count in whole seconds, rather than tenths lol
