Ninja 300...any cheap mods?

Post by Budzy »

Just wondering if anyone knows any mods that can be done to the Ninja 300 that does not cost an arm or a leg?

The 300 Ninja is actually cheaper than I thought it would be at around $6000-$7000, If someone is outlaying that kind of money for a 250/300 then doing cheap mods are not really recommended & would not be good with any kind of warranty claims

Some basic mods with any new bike is usually removing any kind of restrictors in the air filter box & possibly in the exhaust, They would be the first basic cheap mods, But for something as small as a 300cc it would need maybe an exhaust & possibly a retune

You would be better off going for a 600 if you need more power, Probably not much heavier feeling to ride

If you have already bought a 300 you might want to look here>

Thanks for that i will definately look into it. I have already bought the 300 and still have 6 months till i can go for my full licence where i will get a bigger bike if i can afford it. the 300 is already feeling slow so a few tweeks might make me keep loving it till i can go for a bigger bike. i have been looking at the air filters and exhausts but hopefullly it wont need a retune after i do these mods.
Thank you for your advice
