Holy shit. I paid $500 for mine in similar condition.....Got three all up in various states of stuffed. Sitting on a goldmine,
There is another on bikesales for $4k in primer. Ad says it has 'custom paint'. Maybe GTs are like R1s. Dickheads are attracted to them.

yeh 5K for a shitty GT550 is a joke, the bloke has NFI. Saw an ad for a Z1 at 20k and thought he would have some of that action
Best price for a GT550 in that ebay ad ? $2k tops.

Still my fave bike believe it or not. ZRX is catching up though. Yep some dickheads buy multiples of the same bike. I also own 6 and a bit GN250s...

I wasn't overly impressed with them, came across as a fairly average clunker. But every London courier was either on the 550 or 750 (750 had a shaft drive so less service) so should be plenty around.
Mine got squashed by a Ford Escort - which was a little annoying as I was riding it at the time. I replaced it with a CBR600F1 (87 version - not worth much now by all accounts), and that got squashed by an Isuzu Trooper. I stopped commuting to London on a bike after that!!!

They are both freakin' dreamin' $1500 - $2000 at a little stretch.
BTW..I have 2 1/2 '72 S1's.

There is much better units around than what i could sell ya Gos.Or would want to either.
One is a rider,the others are spares,nothing even looks 'good'.
But you never know....what do you need??
