Boots?

So, I purchased brand new motorcycle boot's in feb. When I got all of my gear ofcourse. I wear it everytime I ride, regardless of where i am heading. Not sure if you're supposed to change them when you get to your destination with sneaker's to walk around (are you?). The issue now is essentially the heel, Metal on the back of the boot's tend to make sound like i am wearing high heels or something & attract attention. In short the sole on the back has worn out.
I am unsure on this but here goes.
If a leather jacket rip's or a hole is formed from protecting you, You can get it fixed, by repairing it.
Question is, is it the same with boot's is the sole replaceable?
Or
Should I buy new boot's?
I know it may sound like a stupid question, but in all honesty it is a serious one, not trolling.

If your otherwise happy with the boots, take them to a bootmaker and get a quote on the repairs.
Then decide between the cost of the repair and the cost of new boots.
If you get new boots, go for something that's comfortable to walk around in without the metal sliders, like a touring boot or similar.
However, a lot of the more comfortable boots have a heal, so try them on your bike as well, they may not suit if you like to shift your feet on the pegs a bit, or they may restrict gear changes etc....

Boot's are fine, its just the noise. It tends to attract a lot of attention when I am not walking on carpet. For some reason its only the heel that has worn out everywhere else is fine.
Will try and find a Bootmaker I guess.
Thank's smity

Leathers are easily repairable but depends on how bad the hole? Tear is of if its just a scuff.
Boot are repairable but not all shoe repairers are happy to have a go and it also depends on if you can get spare soles!
I've had a pair of Sidi boots for over 3 years of good riding and they're only needing new soles now!

Yep, its just the heel bit on the soles. Temporary fix for the noise is to use a bit of the hot glue gun. The sole is perfectly fine, its just the edge that's worn out that making it scrape.

Stop dragging your feet when you walk. Won't wear your heels as much
Boot makers the go get them to look at them shouldn't cost to much.

While you've got everyone's attention you could try some impromptu tap dancing to entertain them
