I'm currently running the standard (but brand new) 5/8 nissin master cylinder ony ZXR750 track bike and aren't happy with the braking performance!
I've got Tockico 6 pots off a GSXR1000, EBC HH sintered race pads and braided lines on it but aren't happy with the amount of force I'm getting so am considering upgrading to a modern radial MC but aren't sure which one to go for; any advice?

Not looming at payin mega bucks for a Beeringer or Galspeed one; more like something from a modern sports bike from a breakers!

Have read a 19/20 would be best!

Cheers

Jim - I upgraded the m/c on my ZX12R with a 19mm radial m/c from a gixxer 750. Not sure which model, but apparently the 600/750/1000 model all used the same style ?

Best upgrade to the brakes ever. 1 finger braking around the burbs and 2 fingers almost gets the old girl pulling a stoppie

I think I paid $120 ? or thereabouts - from ebay. It was pretty cheap.

Some anecdotal stories about the 6-pot Tokico calipers tends to suggest that these calipers have always been a bit naff, in terms of feedback. I have never owned a bike with 6-spotters so can't comment from experience ......the best conversion you could do to those brakes I reckon, is get an adapter plate machined up to suit some radial 4-spotters.

I've got a 19mm radial MC off a GSXR if you decide to go down that path Jim. I paid $150 for it from Metrospares and put a new kit through it that cost me $60, it's yours for $100 if you want it.
