A couple of years back in Vic, heading to the island, overtook a 4x4 people mover type wagon on a twisty section over double unbroken lines. The old bus had blankets and pillows and shit in the back. A couple of mates duly followed, as you do.

Anyhoo it turned out to be an unmarked police vehicle. Yep we all got pills, but I guess you have to treat it like a road tax that you have to pay some day.

I think it is a reasonable law and can't really see yourself being overly upset if you get caught breaking it.

The law is there to say its unsafe to pass over wise clowns with no common sense would have head ons everywhere. Just because it is easy to do on a bike doesn't mean that there is enough room and vision for an old beat up Datsun to build up speed and do it. The road rules aren't writing with just us in mind.

Oh and I have seen way to may bikes push the limits even on broken lines let alone unbroken
