2006 zx14 cam chain adjusters

hi all,i need some help as my 06 zx14 with 65,000 klm has a cam chain adjuster that is not working properly, on start up after even a day the cam chain sounds like its gunna self destruct for the first 5 seconds or so, untill oil presure builds up and feeds to the adjuster,and at random has chain noise then its no chain noise, so do i fit a manual cam chain adjuster like an ape, or do i order a factory adjuster, even though they have had trouble with the factory ones since new?? any help please.
