Are you pulling a leg Tim?
Not tidy at all and it may have been once, clutch and stator covers are a give away of its history. Bent left fork? why was it fightered?
2002 models go way cheaper than that in good original condition
BTW without ram air a 12R is a big lump of shite, even a 600 could out run it
Sadly it is another dreamer who thinks his bike is fully sik and it is worth something because they spent too much on it
To give you an idea, I have a 2006 coming up for sale in close to original condition - 76k kms and has never had an accident or a drop for less than what they are asking for and is structurally/mechanically sound. The mint 2005 with 13K kms if I sold it I would be lucky to get 9k for it.

yes everyone is a critic - but you get that. Without ram-air, they have nothing except a good grunty mid-range. But as soon as you try to get on it .......they just gasp and wheeze and a good 600 will hose it. I doubt that anyone could map this out of a 12 ?
But if you want to see a REALLY good fightered 12 - then look no further than the Wastelands Edtion !! turn up the volume.

You would have to get rid of the pressure sencer out of the airbox to make it work wright at higher speeds,it will make the ecu think its getting no air then lean the shit out of it.The only way i could see it half work is making a tube syle /bit of pipe thats restricted at the end and slap the presure secer into it. Just my 2 cents
Fu*k just had another sence, the air blasting past the frame "could" be acting like a siferner /meaning pulling air away from the air box.??

Have to agree there too.... faired bikes dont do the streetfighter look very well............. tho having said that, on lasts year GP run i followed a trick looking R1 that had been done, and it looked real sweet, but looked like it had a lot of $$$$ throwin at it.. but it was horn.
Trouble is, ur behind the 8ball with a ZX12R cause they have been belted with the farrkin ugly stick to start with, so dont have much to work with anyway....... just sayin is all
