So it says no alcohol to be brought in!

Does anyone know how strict they are? Do they search you?

The 'Security' staff at the gate will check your car/bike for any alcohol, they are not Nazis so they will not ask you to pull your bags & gear apart.
The biggest mistake you can make in the Campground is to be seen walking around with a glass bottle or a brand of piss that they don't sell at the track, understandably they don't take too kindly to that.

No offence to indians... but they make CRAP security guards..
Few years back i just rode straight passed them with kazz on the back into the campground, i had a pass, she didnt, i just didnt stop, then next morning while walking thru the gates at southern loop, i showed my pass and said to kazz keep walking... they were to piss weak to even challenge me... so gettin a bottle or two of ur fav spirt in... no probs
