GPX 750 forks

I had my Gpx750 knocked over at work a while ago. I picked it up on Saturday from the repairer he say your forks are knocking. You will need to check that out. They were fine when I dropped it off.Anyone got any ideas what could be knocking. They were re built in February.
The repairer had the front wheel off to change the brake disc.
