Buying brake parts on ebay

I have a ZZR250 which I am trying to get on the road. The rear brake rotor is looking on the iffy side, could pass road worthy, might not. I have got prices off some wreckers and the best price so far is $65 posted. I have been looking on ebay as parts and noticed a lot of cheaper generic brake rotors for under $50 new. Has anyone had any experience with ebay brake parts, rotors and pads? Was it a good or bad experience?

Ide spend $65 on 2nd hand OEM brake parts from the wreckers before I spent $50 on new chinky shit from E-bay.
Its brakes dude. If you can't afford good ones this week. wait untill you can and then get them. Don't skimp on brakes EVER.

You sure can skimp on them, if your looking to permanently reside in a box 6 feet below the ground.

The only Chinese brake component I'd use is a solid rear disc, just because apart from using cheap steel, they can't really fuck them up (unlike the floating wave rotors).
From (bad) experience the pads are soft & they squeal & fade when you get them hot, they are kind to your discs though... but I'd rather sacrifice some disc wear for being able to stop if I need to.
