If one was to invest some money on a bike, what would you consider a worthy purchase?

Interested in all thoughts.

How much of an investment? a small purchase to be worth a few thousand later? A few thousand purchase to be worth more later?

Determining future collectors items in advance - every investor's dream...

:kuda: :kuda: :kuda:

You could buy my ZXR for $2500 and hope that it's worth more later???

If your looking to make dough there are any number of better ways. Investment and bike normally don't sit we'll together. Even "classics" like the z900 are a dud investment over time

If you just want something cool in the shed that might appreciate over time then that's fine though but don't count on it appreciating at an acceptable rate.

True.... Nice to have something sweet in the garage tho!!!!

My old man has some appreciating bikes in his garage, but none will ever make him a millionaire, but he loves working on them and spending time in their company.

Ducati 748 R
Ducati 998
Ducati 900 SS FE (final edition)
Buell X1 lightning
Moto guzzi V11 sport
