Anyone been to Kiwi land?
I'm heading over to Auckland on Sunday morning for the week to work.
Just wondering if anyone has been to Auckland or Hamilton?
Cheers.

What's Hamilton like?
Flying into Auckland, then into Hamilton. Anything to do around this area?

Waitomo isn't far from Hamilton, much more interesting! or travel a bit farther afield and go to Rotorua

Hey Stu, my relatives live around Hamilton.
There are some great hot mineral water spas at Te-Aroha, bit of a drive from Hamilton, but well worth it for relaxation and reviving the body. Make sure you book ahead for the hot spa
There is a Tea farm just out of Hamilton towards Gordonton serving the finest Chinese teas grown there. Oolong tea was very tasty.
I think the place where they shot some lord of the rings is in Matamata, Hobbit Village from memory.
Museum in Auckland is pretty interesting
Most of my visits to the area end up in a drinking sessions with relatives.
And a jam with my uncle in Hamilton on Friday nights. If you play guitar or any instrument and drink till 2am the boys would be happy for you to hang out with them
Or........ Hire a big Kawasaki and some wet weather gear, and go for a ride in your spare time...... Some awesome roads and great country side to ride through.
Or"........ Hire a duel purpose motorbike and hit some dirt/ gravel roads
Have fun bro
