The Project 9

Post by shadowzx9 »

Ive decided not to sell the 9, and instead to use it for myself and build something up.

Ill post pics and stuff for those interested.

Stage 1

And, Unfortunately, the first major problem

I'll be honest and say that a can of matte black was a serious thought on Sunday, but no, it won't be a street fighter

Minor Update.

Undertrays (Fenders) would appear to be rarer than a virgin in Mt Druitt, so, Instead I have spend the last 4 days with a Dremel hacking away at the old one

This is how it fits now.

Going to have to put something like one of those Rizoma Number plate carriers to provide space for the Blinkers and legality issues (reflector)

That distressing moment when you hear the alloy snap on the triple tree lower clamp and you realise that you left the torque wrench set at 40 ft lb's instead of 20

Time for an update methinks

Bikes in the process of being reassembled, just sourcing a few more parts before the panels can be sent off for paint
Then about 3grand worth of Rizoma, nother 3 for the front end sliders and brake updates, tyres, then the big question of what to do with the engine.
