a mate from work sent me this link from the vic coppers submission to parliament about rider safety and all the BS that is going on atm. has anyone else read or seen these before?

On one hand they talk about leagalising lane splitting but in this report they recommend making it a specific offence. Not to even mention all of the other bs (front plates and the like....)

I was reading yesterday on courier mail how a girl up here in Brisbane was waiting in traffic when a ute run into her from behind, she was trapped bewteen the bike and the car in front of her when the bike caught fire. She was saved by a tow truck driver who put the fire out with an extinguisher. She would have better off if she had of filtered or split to the front. She is still critical.

We all know that human error is the cause of accidents and until they can remove humans from the equation then they will continue to occur no matter what they do. They think that imposing fines is the only way to fix things

That video seems fake. A little to co-incidental a crash proof motorbike crashing straight away. Granted it was human error at play which makes it all the more sus.
