I'm thinking about replacing the brake discs on my ZXR750 track bike and was wondering what's recommended?
I can get some from the UK that I've used before but if there are any I can get for similar money here I'd rather do that!
Heard EBC's XE discs are good!
Cheers

93 ZXR750 L1
Maybe not best then but the bet for my budget: $400 - $500!
Can get Stealth brakes from the UK for $400 for front wavy's!

Been offered EBC or MetalGear discs within my budget: any experience with them?

If you want the best probably braketech are the ones what you are looking for is the lightest rotors that will do the job properly, there are plenty of ebAy Chinese ones I have used these and they work fine too I think I paid $130 delivered for one of these last time how good they float is a issue but I have no problem lifting the back wheel of the ground on corner entry.
Lightness of the rotor will affect tip in because they are unsprung mass and that and they float properly on the carrier is what you pay for.
I also have a brembo radial master cylinder and brembo 4 pot brakes on my bike and the next rotor I buy will be brake tech and I will see if it's twice as good As a eBay cheapie.
I figure if it's round and flat and the pads can get a good grip on it it's going to work which leads to another braking question of what sort of pads are you going to use with the rotor?

I have recently fitted EBC XC rotors with HH pads and had no problems and happy with them.Around $500 for the lot at the time Rockymountain. $210 each rotor.
