When I first got my little twofitty and went out for a ride I came home with the biggest smile on my face, because I received something I never knew existed. Bike Love.
Other motorcyclists would see me on not a scooter, but a motorcycle and give me the nod, or a wave... it made me feel good. Like all motorcyclists had this subconscious respect for other riders.

I adopted this practice obviously - as to do otherwise (deliberately) would be slightly insulting.

So I quite aggravated when I pay a nod or quick helmet tilt to another rider... and nothing. Sometimes they just look at you.

What the fcuk happened to the respect amongst the riding community?

I just thought a lot of motorcycle riders had tourette's, you mean they were saying hello! Well f..k me

I always wondered I never saw any cruiser riders with tourette's, now I just realise they are bunch of arrogant c..ks.

I blame Cruisers and MAMIL's (Middle Aged Men in Leather) coming back into riding after years out of it and also the fully sick maaaaht brigade on their R1's.

Most of them are Posers and just don't get the nod. Because they don't do it a lot of newby's then don't get it either.

When I started riding you always got a nod, even occasionally from bikies........ we need a smiley for a nod, this is the closest I could find

I wave or nod to everyone,including posties and bike cops.........if i get a return ,good one,if not,oh well the next one wil.

But i also don't sweat over it.

Keep it up boys...the 1 u gets worth the 5 u don't i reckon...except the majority of Harley riders (blow them off & keep going) unless they acknowledge me first i couldn't be assed...the majority of them can't ride what their on properly.."but I'm way cool in my fake leather vest" and i really believe they deep down envy us on sportbikes..But Fuck Im Tough!!

Haha I thought I was the only one to nod at bike cops! Haven't had one nod back yet.... The only riders I don't nod to is Harleys and scooters whom would never acknowledge you any way.

When the misses is going pillion she laughs at me nodding! She's convinced no riders ever nod back haha! She thinks I'm an idiot!

Sometimes I accidentally nod at scooter riders and feel very dirty at myself. Once I was so disgused at my accidental nodding that I stalled the bike and threw it down the road in disgust, lol true story .........

Honestly dude, sometimes we give each other a little friendly rivalry poke eg, scooter, harley, honda riders (and anything inferior to the mighty Kawa)...........but really as long as you love riding then your OK in my books.
