Check your bolts guys & gals!

Post by Fred »

Just been installing a Penske rear shock, this necessitated removing things like heel gaurds etc.
One of my heel gaurds was only finger tight, so when I was reinstalling things I went around everything I could lay a spanner on, and there were quite a few bolts screws etc that were not as tight as they should have been!
I checked the gauge cluster/front fairing bolts, these were good. No locktight needed there!
Not much needed to do now, maybe a rear fender mod, and a centre stand (could have done with that yesterday).

Would you feel comfortable being responsible for the deaths of all the Fairy Penguins, the Seals, Bald Eagles, Kittens, Puppy Dogs and all the Pedestrians you pass?
