Former F1 star Emerson Fittipaldi (who actually started by racing motorcycles) owns two Kawasaki dealerships in Brazil, and displayed this Kawasaki ZX-10R special edition at Salão Duas Rodasn.

This limited edition Kawasaki Fittipaldi World Edition that sports an awesome black and gold paint job with custom accessories was created by the F1 driver and his team, and is totally inspired by the Lotus 72 John Player Special, the car that he won his first F1 world championship title (11 races) forty years ago.

Only 50 units of this special edition will be prepared. One will be auctioned and Fitzipaldi has decided to keep one for himself, that leaves just 48 numbered Ninjas that will be autographed by the Brazilian driver, and will no doubt become a collectors item for the rest of the world.

Mate of mine says he got one of those. I reckon that seat looks freaking ridiculous...

On a side note, Fittipaldi did start his career on 2 wheels!

a paint job inspired by cigarette company colours on an F1 car 40 years ago......let me see does it tick any boxes ?

hmmmm.........

relevant ? no

Inspiring ? no

Collectors item ? nah

Overpriced stock bike ? Yes - it ticks this box for sure.

Fittipaldi is a name that is entirely irrelevant to the target demographic for this motorcycle. None of this group were even a smile on Dads face when Fittipaldi won 1 F1 championship in a black-and-gold Lotus.

They should have painted a fucking Vulcan in black and gold and aimed it at the retiring baby boomers with too much cash and not enough brain cells. Plenty of those idiots around.
