Custom Stickers

I was thinking of getting a mate who works in a sign shop to cut me some custom vinyl stickers for my machine. I have no stickers on my bike at the moment (should I? it's a 2004 zzr250) and I was just thinking to get the shape cut out in white. Is there any particular vinyl I should use (or adhesive?) and what do I need specify? How do regular stickers work (adhesive or static?) Any pointers on what to avoid?

Application wise, the side fairing is rather bumpy (yeah, no shit) and the image I want to use is flat... how do I resolve this, should I modify the graphic or do I just paste the flat cut out over the bumps? Will post a pic of the graphic asap, since it's really awkward. Thanks -J.

just make sure the vinyl u get can stand being outdoors exposed to the elements. this shouldn't be hard to get if you're dealing with a sign shop.

u might also want to consider getting chrome stickers. they look cool :D

the side of the bike shouldn't be too much trouble to stick the sticker onto, as long as you aren't trying to go over the holes or something. vinyls can usually curve a little.

when you're applying them be very very careful not to get bubbles! cos they're hard/impossible to get out!

The guys at Allbikes in Moss street have some great contacts when it comes to stickers... Might be worth giving them a ring... :?

i am sure it should just have zzr on the fairing. Wonder why they are gone. check the kwaka website and you will see where i am talking about. I had an 01 zzr and the decal is in the same place as the 05. would be worthwhile checking out coz you dont want it to look out of place..
