pretty much curious as to if a 2012 ninja 250r stock exhaust would fit my 2011 model, i am not sure if they've changed anything but if you guys know any info please don't hesitate to post it as i cant find shit on the interwebs need to buy it by the end of tomorrow so a reply before then would be greatly appreciated. The guy is giving me a discount and i cant pass this up
worse case scenario if it doesn't fit ill end up selling it i suppose could make a profit
*only bringing this up as when i went to buy the mgp growler i was informed it wont fit a 2012 model so i am a bit concerned
*might end up looking like a dickhead but what the heck, might pop in to a kawa bike store and ask them providing i have the time
*also apart from damage if any to the exhaust is there anything else im lookin for?
thanks in advance
cheers
fitzy

The exhaust shape, pipping & brackets are the same for the 08-12 models on the 250r. The only difference between the exhausts for the respective models is the colour of the muffler ie chrome vs matte black.

well this is is awesome getting the exhaust for 40 bucks which is what had me concerned but then again it doesn't come with any of the nuts and bolts as he ended up using it on another bike atleast thats what he tells me, anyways bolts and nuts shouldn't cost that much i think

It should be the same as all of the other twin 250's that Kawasaki have made. The ZZR and GPX were unchanged for around 20 years. The little Ninja will not have changes except "bold new graphics" for the life of the bike.

08 to 12 are the same as has been said before, begs the question though, why do you want a stock exhaust? No it should not look like that, it's been butchered when they've taken it off for some wierd reason!

well thought of replacing my scratched up stock one with an undamaged one after viewing that it was scratched as well lost interest though i was not sure if its suppose to look like that (as you can tell i don't know a lot about bikes except when it comes to its aesthetics) cause i was thinking of replacing my stock one with an mgp growler but issue was/still is that if i were to put an aftermarket exhaust on it would i end up having to do the same thing to my exhaust? i was told it should just unbolt... hence kinda on the fence whether to put on a new can or leave it immaculate in stock ( providing i fix my scratched up can) didnt want to do any diy job cause i have a feeling ill end up screwing it up

What exactly are you asking as you post comes across as jiberish. Slow down & punctuate!
Looking at that photo someone has hacksawed it & then spray painted it black. The workmanship remembles work done by the great mervin; that is not a complement.
It does not remble oem & i wouldnt be putting a generic make shift exhaust anyway for a 2fiddy; if you loose to much back pressure (looking at the diameter of that inlet) you'll be wondering why your bike is sluggish especially in the lower rpm.
Go for oem or bolt on aftermarket slip on for your bike, forget about that garbage or any other cheap fix.

Iam finding it hard to follow you, yeah I am getting to olkarn age now and a bit hard of hearing and my sight isnt what it use to be, tolerance of a shotgun shell in a fire etc.
But what I can make of your ramblings I can respond with this:
For a start pull up your pants and talk properly ffs, next, shut up and listen
Thats why its cheap, stick with OEM and save your money for corner and braking courses
Who cares if yours is scratched, wait until you sell it as you're likely to scratch it again based from your posts.
And no they dont sound cool with the after market or altered muffler
Now get out and learn to ride

Bahaha plus one
Seriously if your bikes rideable and RWC don't fix it.
To take a quote from a famous movie
" white people want to win first and look good second, black people want to look good first and win 2nd". (any takers on the movie?)
Anyway what I'm getting at, is channel your inner white and worry about learning to ride.....

yes i agree and get where your coming from but, i am just trying to fix what i have damaged hence the reason why i went into looking, and came up with this. That being said doing my p's on may 16th after that ill end up looking into an advance riding course at st ives.
So far i have been told (not by professionals) that all my exhaust needs is a good sanding and a repaint now. I am pretty much unsure of doing it my self as there is a big chance i will fuck it up due to a few reasons 1) don't know what in thee blue hell am i doing and 2) how to go about it ( i assume i would have to take the exhaust of and i am concerned i might end up braking something) will post up some pics of my exhaust, when day light hits
*Lets get one thing clear i have dropped the bike for the first and the last time. The fact that i dropped it still pains me more then the damm broken bone, ego and jokes aside i am never gonna let any part of the bike apart from the tires and stand touch the ground. If i do then i might just end up a cager

Buy a car now............
Seriously you can't say that, you could suggest you never want to drop it again but that statement is just crap!
I'm sure I can remember you saying at the start that you weren't going to crash blah blah blah.......
And stop whining that you can't do this and can't do that. Things aren't that hard. Get some sandpaper, Matt black high temp spray can from auto barn. Unbolt your muffler, sand it, spray it and go riding.
